What are lane marking and hazard tapes?

Designed to either cordon off areas, signify hazards or to mark out lanes, lane marking and hazard tapes are cost effective ways of ensuring your site is operating correctly, with hazards clearly marked. Available in a range of colours and some with messaging, lane marking and hazard tapes are durable and easy to use.

When are lane marking and hazard tapes used?

Lane marking and hazard tape types

Barrier tapes   -   Typically non-adhesive and often accompanied by a message, barrier tapes are used to anchor between two points to cordon off areas to keep your personnel safe. They are easy to install and are highly visible.

Hazard tape   -   Often boasting high visibility colourways, hazard tapes are ideal for highlighting hazards or potential safety concerns around the workplace. These may be adhesive or non-adhesive. Durable and easy to install, hazard tapes are highly versatile.

Floor marking tape   -   Used for marking areas on the floor, floor marking tapes can be used to create lanes for personnel to use, highlight hazardous areas or to enforce ditance rules such as "keep behind the line". They are noted for their durability and reistance to heavy footfall.

Considerations when choosing lane marking & hazard tapes

By considering the factors listed below when selecting your lane marking * hazard tape, you can be assured that the product you select is suited for your needs.

Material & Durability   -   Choose materials based on durability and the environment that the lane marking & hazard tape will be used in.
